Mobile app development for Android and iOS.

I build mobile apps for Android and iOS from a single Flutter codebase, with the backend, integrations and store releases handled in the same engagement. You work directly with the person writing the code — no agency layers, no relayed briefs.

01 · WHAT YOU GET

One app, both stores, no double build

A Flutter codebase compiles to native Android and iOS apps, so the screens, business logic and API layer are written once and shipped to both stores. That keeps the build shorter and the two apps consistent, instead of two teams drifting apart over time.

A typical engagement covers the app itself, the API it talks to, the integrations it needs — payments, push notifications, maps, chat, video — and the release process through Google Play and the Apple App Store, including store listings, screenshots and the review responses that follow.

02 · SCOPE & COST

What actually decides the price of a mobile app

Screen count is the least useful way to price an app. Cost is driven by the number of user roles, the complexity of the flows, how much of the backend has to be built, which third-party services are involved, and whether design exists or has to be created.

An app with login, a catalogue and a checkout is a different project from one with real-time calling, live video, subscriptions and an admin panel. I scope against those specifics and quote a fixed price per milestone, so the number does not move because a build took longer than expected. The pricing guide explains the ranges and what changes them.

03 · BUILD VS BUY

When a mobile app is the right move — and when it is not

An app makes sense when your customers come back repeatedly, when push notifications or offline access matter, when the phone camera, location or Bluetooth is part of the product, or when the experience itself is the business — streaming, marketplaces, bookings, communities.

If the entire product is a few informational pages, a fast mobile website is usually cheaper to build, cheaper to maintain and easier to find on Google. I will say so rather than sell an app you do not need.

04 · HOW IT RUNS

From brief to store in reviewable steps

We start with a short written scope: screens, roles, integrations, assumptions and exclusions. Work then moves in milestones with a running build you can install and test on your own phone, so feedback arrives while changes are still cheap.

Before release I handle the parts clients usually underestimate: signing keys, app icons and store assets, privacy declarations, test builds, staged rollout and the first weeks of crash reports. Handover includes the repository, credentials and documentation, with the code and IP owned by you.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Working together

How much does a mobile app cost in India?

It depends on scope rather than screen count. A focused app with accounts and a few integrations sits at the lower end; products with payments, real-time features, admin panels or two platforms cost more. After a short scoping call I quote a fixed price per milestone so the total is known before work starts.

How long does it take to build an app?

A focused MVP usually takes 6–12 weeks including store review. Larger products with complex integrations, multiple roles or Smart TV clients typically run 3–6 months. The estimate depends mostly on how ready the content, designs and backend are.

Will I get both an Android and an iOS app?

Yes, from one Flutter codebase. Both builds share the same logic and UI, which keeps behaviour consistent and cuts the cost of building and maintaining two separate native apps.

Can you take over an app that someone else built?

Yes. I start by reviewing the codebase, dependencies, release setup and store accounts, then propose the smallest safe path to the change you need instead of defaulting to a rewrite.

Do I own the source code?

Yes. On final payment you receive the full repository, credentials and documentation, and the IP transfers to you unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Do you work with clients outside Kerala?

Most of my work is remote, with clients across India, the Gulf, Europe and the US. Updates are written and asynchronous, with demos at agreed milestones so time zones are not a blocker.
