01 · PROJECT CONTEXT

The product challenge

Users need to know whether an advisor is available, what a call costs and when a session is active. The call lifecycle also has to remain reliable when the app moves into the background.

MY CONTRIBUTION

Built Flutter call and wallet experiences with Agora calling, agent presence, usage billing and background-call handling.

02 · IMPLEMENTATION

Implementation & engineering decisions

  1. 01Connected agent presence and availability with the user-facing call journey.
  2. 02Integrated Agora for one-to-one audio sessions and call-state handling.
  3. 03Implemented per-second coin pricing and wallet-related call flows.
  4. 04Handled background/foreground transitions and notifications around active calls.
ENGINEERING NOTES

Where the implementation needed care

Architecture

Flutter UI, Agora audio sessions and Firebase services work together around agent presence and a call lifecycle that drives coin usage.

Key challenge

Keep call status and billable duration understandable through incoming, active, ended and backgrounded states.

Delivered

Flutter audio-call experience, agent availability, coin-based usage flow and background-call handling.

ARCHITECTURE & INTEGRATION

A paid voice session ties advisor presence to time-based wallet usage.

The Flutter client combines advisor availability, session entry and call lifecycle handling. Agora carries the audio call, Firebase supports app services, and the wallet/coin flow tracks per-second usage. Background and foreground transitions are important because they affect an active paid session.
