REMOTE HIRING · CONTRACT · FLUTTER · LARAVEL · KOCHI, KERALA
AVAILABLE FOR WORKFreelance · Contract · Full-time

Add a senior remote app developer without the agency layer.

If you need extra engineering capacity, you can work directly with the person writing the code. I join as a freelancer or contract developer, agree written milestones and communication rhythms, and keep the codebase and the decisions visible to your team.

01 · HOW REMOTE WORKS

Written context beats a permanent meeting

Remote work fails when decisions live only in calls. I use a short written brief, a milestone plan and a regular update that states what shipped, what is next and what is blocked. Demos happen at agreed points, and questions are batched where possible so your team is not pulled into ad-hoc calls all day.

I work from Kochi on IST, with overlap for GCC, Europe and US mornings. For teams in other time zones, the written update is the default and the call is the exception.

02 · ENGAGEMENT MODELS

Project, retainer or contract capacity

A fixed-scope project works when the outcome is clear and the milestones can be defined. A monthly retainer works when the product is already live and the work is continuous. Contract capacity works when you have a team and need another senior developer for a defined period.

In every model, you get repository access, a written scope, milestone demos and a handover path. I do not hide the work behind an account manager or a private build environment.

03 · WHAT TO CHECK

Hire for the decisions, not just the framework

Ask how the developer handles a vague requirement, a production incident, a store rejection and a handover. Ask to see code they wrote, not only screenshots. Ask what they will not do. Those answers tell you more than a list of packages.

I am a solo developer, not an agency. If your project needs a team of ten, I will say so. If it needs one senior person who can own the app, the API and the release, that is the work I do.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Working together

What time zones can you overlap with?

I am in IST (UTC+5:30). That gives useful overlap with the Gulf, Europe and US mornings. For other teams, I rely on written updates and scheduled demos rather than pretending to be online around the clock.

Can we start with a small paid trial?

Yes, if the trial has a clear deliverable and a defined time box. A vague 'test task' is not useful for either side. I prefer a small real piece of work with acceptance criteria.

Who owns the code?

You do, on final payment, unless we agree otherwise in writing. The repository, credentials and documentation are handed over as part of the engagement.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. I can sign a mutual NDA before detailed product or code access.

Can you replace an agency?

I can take over a defined product or work alongside an existing team. I am one developer, so I will be direct about whether the scope needs a larger team or a different mix of skills.

Do you take full-time roles?

My main work is freelance and contract. Full-time roles are considered case by case, and I will be clear about availability before we go through a long process.
